Oliver Green is a J.D Candidate at New York University School of Law and was a SEO Law Fellow at Morrison & Foerster LLP last summer. At NYU Law, Oliver is a first-year representative for the Sports Law Association, and is a member of the Intellectual Property & Entertainment Law Society as well as the Black Allied Law Students Association.
Oliver is a native of Boston, MA and attended the Roxbury Latin School. Oliver went on to earn his college education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he graduated as a pre-law and Spanish major with highest honors.
As a pre-law student, Oliver served as a member of the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Moot Court Team, on which he was one of eight members selected to present a brief regarding 2nd amendment rights against other collegiate participants in the Tennessee area. He also served as a congressional intern in Nashville with Representative Jim Cooper of Tennessee’s 5th district, assisting in drafting congressional correspondence while also analyzing the efficacy of Tennessee’s health care and prison reform policies.
As a Spanish major, Oliver’s abroad experiences include a month studying in Perú as well as living with a family in Barcelona, Spain in the neighborhood of Sarrià for five months. On campus, Oliver was an honors student and completed a thesis of forty-plus pages written exclusively in Spanish, dealing with the legal and sociological construction of the United States – Mexico border as well as the theme of Latin-American immigration.
In his professional career, Oliver worked as a ticket sales representative for the Boston Red Sox for two summers, before taking a role as a sports marketing intern with Blue Sky Sports & Entertainment in Norwell, Massachusetts. On campus, after serving as a contributor to the sports section of Vanderbilt’s newspaper, The Hustler, Oliver assisted a startup as an amateur baseball talent scout, watching games of DII & DIII teams in the Nashville area and drafting scouting reports consisting of player analysis, stat collection, MLB comps, and future projections.

Jeanette Subkhanberdina is a senior at Barnard College of Columbia University pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. She grew up in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and moved to the U.K. in 2011. Jeanette eventually moved to the U.S. in 2013 to attend Milton Academy. Her time in Boston fostered a true passion for professional sports. At Milton, she had the opportunity to work at Choate Hall & Stewart LLP as a wealth management intern. Jeanette was able to conduct research projects pertaining to ongoing estate law cases concerning out-of-wedlock children while also analyzing historical trends behind wealth management law in Massachusetts. This experience further cultivated her interest in studying law. At Barnard, Jeanette is a Shvidler Fellow, a member of the Athena Pre-Law Society, and a Network Committee member on the McIntosh Activities Council. She also serves on the executive boards of HeForShe Columbia. As a psychology major, Jeanette is particularly interested in the intersection of cognitive psychology and organizational psychology.
Last summer, Jeanette completed an internship with the New York Mets. She collaborated with a team of eight interns on a project to identify strategic partnership ideas to generate revenue during COVID-19. At the end of the summer, the team delivered recommendations to the Chief Revenue Officer and VP. Additionally, she familiarized herself with the operations of legal counsel, marketing, business intelligence, and venue services departments through nine biweekly Zoom sessions with department executives. The experience elevated her understanding of brand, team, and agency stakeholder responsibilities at a professional baseball team.
Additionally, last June, Jeanette joined Dwellness In-Home Psychological Services PLLC as a digital marketing strategy intern and presently holds the position. Her responsibilities have included competitor and best practices research, the design and implementation of a social media marketing calendar, and all advertising account management. She also drafts and sends out weekly cold-outreach pitches.
Jeanette is a native speaker of Kazakh and Russian and fluent in French. Her experience growing up in Kazakhstan and moving around since then has allowed for a global perspective that she hopes to leverage professionally.
